ITSA J&K meeting with CMD

During CMD’s visit to Srinagar,we had a short meeting at ITSA platform with him on 11.04.09.Following is the gist of discussions:

1.We took up the issue of adhoc allowance of 2750/-.We brought to his notice that anomaly in pay of absorbed and non absorbed officers.Example of two officers in SAG in J&K Circle namely Sri Anupam Gupt(ITS) and Sri CSN Murthy(absorbed) of 1983 batch.There pay difference is about 4000/- without taking into account HRA.Hence both the conditions envisaged for the adhoc allowance are existing.After discussions he said that details of difference in pay in other grades may be submitted to him.

2.Matter of allowances of 6th CPC was also discussed.He said that compny’s condition is not good.We insisted that these allowances are a matter of right for us.Then he said that a committee is working on the subject for working out uniform allowances for all employees.We said that it has already consumed lot of time and also that there is no need for uniform allowance.Pending committee report and decision of management thereupon,CPC allowances should be given to all non absorbed officers.Later a choice can be given to officers.He simply said that report of the committee will be expedited.

From ITSA J&K chapter,we recommend that both the above mentioned issues may be taken up strongly and urgently with CMD. Infact the adhoc allowance should now be higher than 2750/- and may be in the range of 5000/-.
